The Super Red Bristlenose Pleco also known as the Bristlenose, Ancistus comes from the rivers and tributaries of South America. It is mainly dark red or dark orange with a mottling of lighter areas. The mouth area and nose are covered in short, whisker-like appendages, which are used for detecting food.
Ideal water parameters, pH 6.8 to 7.6 temperature 68-78f
Feeding, will eat a variety of foods. Feed a varied diet of frozen food, freeze dried and flake foods and some fresh vegetables.
We ship livestock on the following days only Mon, Tues, Wed and Thursday on a next service before 1pm. We will contract you within 24 hours of date of purchase to arrange delivery date. If you want a preferred delivery date please contact us before hand. Shipping is £28 for as many fish as you like up to 20kg. UK mainland and some parts of Scotland are available for delivery.
