The gold widow tetra (Gymnocorymbus ternetzi), also known as the gold skirt tetra, petticoat tetra, is a freshwater fish of the characin family (Characidae). 

Growing up to 7.5 cm (3.0 in) in length, the gold widow tetra has a roughly tetragonal body shape and is goldish in colour. 

Ideal water parameters, pH 5.5 to 7.0, temperature 72-80F

Feeding, gold widow tetra will take a variety of small frozen foods, freeze dried and flake foods.
