Revered for their vibrant colors and eye-catching shimmer, the Congo Tetra (Phenacogrammus interruptus) has become a widely popular freshwater fish species in the aquarium community. They were first discovered in 1949. However, due to breeding difficulties, it wasn’t until the 1970s that these fish became a staple in tanks across the world.
Ideal water parameters, pH 6.0 to 7.5, temperature 72-82F
Feeding, congo tetra will take a variety of small frozen foods, freeze dried and flake foods.
We ship livestock on the following days only Mon, Tues, Wed and Thursday on a next service before 1pm. We will contract you within 24 hours of date of purchase to arrange delivery date. If you want a preferred delivery date please contact us before hand. Shipping is £28 for as many fish as you like up to 20kg. UK mainland and some parts of Scotland are available for delivery.
