Beckford pencilfish (Nannostomus beckfordi) is a very small an peaceful tank fish.
The Beckford pencilfish is calm and peaceful. Because of its size you shouldn’t keep fish together with large, aggressive and predator fish species. Pencilfish usually swims near the water surface or in the middle water layer. This small fish reaches up to 6.5 cm in standard length.
Ideal water parameters, pH 5.0 to 8.0, temperature 72-78F
Feeding, beckfordi pencilfish will take a variety of small frozen foods, freeze dried and flake foods.
We ship livestock on the following days only Mon, Tues, Wed and Thursday on a next service before 1pm. We will contract you within 24 hours of date of purchase to arrange delivery date. If you want a preferred delivery date please contact us before hand. Shipping is £28 for as many fish as you like up to 20kg. UK mainland and some parts of Scotland are available for delivery.
