The Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia praecox), also known as the Neon Rainbowfish, is a vibrant and captivating freshwater fish species native to the rivers and streams of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Belonging to the Melanotaenia genus, this small and colorful fish is highly prized for its striking iridescent blue and orange hues, making it a popular choice among aquarium enthusiasts.

Feeding, Praecox rainbows are an omnivore and should be fed a varied diet of flakes, micro pellets and live/frozen food
We ship livestock on the following days only Mon, Tues, Wed and Thursday on a next service before 1pm. We will contract you within 24 hours of date of purchase to arrange delivery date. If you want a preferred delivery date please contact us before hand. Shipping is £28 for as many fish as you like up to 20kg. UK mainland and some parts of Scotland are available for delivery.
